Our Representative Government

MOUNTAIN View MAYOR

STONE COUNTY JUDGE
& QUORUM Court

The County Judge serves as a chief executive officer of the county government. This is not a Mayor (that is city level), but is more similar to that, not our usual understanding of a judicial judge with a gavel. He works with the Quorum Court members called Justices of the Peace. Stone County QC has 9 district members who are elected for two-year terms. Learn more about these local governing positions and details of their public meetings at StoneCountyAR.gov
